Bohlmann Enhances Products, Develop New Elements

04.15.14

Denison, Iowa - Bohlmann, Inc. has always been committed to continual product improvement and 2014 is no exception. The western Iowa company, which has over 60 years of experience in the livestock industry, is currently developing a new heating element that will be utilized in their livestock waterers to increase the units' durability. The product development project is in the early stages, however the company is looking to have the enhanced offering in place by Fall 2014. In preparation for the introduction of these heating elements, the company has also invested in new product testing equipment to ensure their high quality standards continue to be upheld.

While Bohlmann's Research and Development department remains busy with product development, they have also achieved product advancements for various existing waterer models. After engaging in an evaluation process that included gathering customer feedback and product testing, Bohlmann identified the potential for product improvements and recently implemented the resulting changes to all of their fountains. These modifications include easy access service doors and hood brackets. The recessed hoods allow for quicker access to electrical and plumbing when service is needed, while also eliminating a surface that cattle tend to rub against.

"We continue to look at ways in which we can continually improve our products and show our commitment to customers," says Director of Sales Aaron Johnson. "As our livestock division continues to grow, quality product enhancements are definitely a priority for Bohlmann." The company is currently running an online promotion on their Model 75 Electric or Model 75 Constant Flow livestock waterers that allows customers to save over $200.
